Product facts
Backtest is a trading strategy backtesting and paper signal research app.
This page gives search engines and AI answer engines a concise, sourceable summary of what Backtest does and does not do.
What Backtest is
Backtest helps traders test strategy rules on historical market data before risking real capital. It supports strategy setup, chart review, trade details, equity curve, drawdown, saved history, AI analysis, and paper signal bots.
What Backtest is not
Backtest is not a brokerage, exchange, financial adviser, investment adviser, or real-money trading platform. It does not place live trades and does not connect to brokerage execution accounts.
Supported workflows
Users can test preset strategies, describe manual rules, choose long, short, or both-direction testing, adjust stop loss and take profit, and review each trade on a chart. Authenticated users can use AI analysis and account-linked sync.
Methodology
Backtest explains its simulation assumptions at backtest.click/methodology, including entries, exits, fees, slippage, stop loss, take profit, confidence score, and limitations.
Product screenshots
Real app screenshots are available at backtest.click/screenshots, including strategy setup, BTC result charts, history, paper signal bots, and account quotas.
Risk disclosure
Backtests are historical simulations and do not guarantee future performance. AI analysis can be wrong. Paper signal bots are notification tools only.
